I am excited to share a new project to create content and share real-time over the next 60 days.

Why am I doing this?

The premise leading to the project came from me needing to remove the many clouds in my blue sky, which is better integration of my professional, personal, and volunteer activities to support my purpose.

I live a personal purpose of leading technology-driven innovative solutions for underserved youth and women in underrepresented communities worldwide.
My vision is an environment where these individuals have the systems and tools to support self-economic mobility and financial independence.

I struggled to identify the brand value statement while reflecting on my recent personal, professional, and volunteer work. I lost this clarity during the combination of the global pandemic chaos and my recent time in the private sector. Working in the private sector requires adhering to the organization's guidelines and policies on public statements such as social media. As such, creating and sharing content can be a tricky slope. Therefore, most private-sector professionals are not active on public-facing platforms.

When I worked for a private firm, my social media presence was usually firm-related or one of my nonprofit volunteer roles.

As a result, there is not much personal social media content to support my ability to identify my updated brand value statement accurately.

The reality is that we live in a world that rewards an active social media presence and uses it to define an individual's brand. In my quest to correctly identify my brand value statement, I examined my social media content.

The results showed my last active content creation period was during 2008-2012 while building one of my successful fail-up startup ventures.

In today's world, individuals, companies, governments et al. that do not continually adapt and evolve to meet the needs of an environment do not survive.

A glance into the global market is a space driven by big data, empowered customers who can destroy a brand using social media.

Finally, newly established firms are doing more with less using the disruptive effect of technology across industries.

For example, companies without an accurate end-to-end digital model to reach their customers had little time to adapt and, in many cases, went out of business.

As a result of my inability to adapt to the needs of my customers - my personal and professional network, I, too, went out of business, metaphorically speaking, in the social media arena.

My last tweet that was not a retweet was on February 16, 2021, on the climate change link. Follow me on Twitter @mrsmartcities.

At its very essence, I want to use this project to have a baseline to test my hypothesis for more data in answering the question can 60 days of content help identify brand value.

Finally, I am very aware that the undertaking will be audacious, but hey, to whom much is given, see the pedigree #sorrynotsorry

I plan to research a Smörgåsbord of topics and produce content with three themes;

Live, Work, Play/Creative.

Live

Live will explore content from areas of exploration in art, culture, media, music, film, and additional topics of interest.

Work Work content will explore areas of interest in my area of professional expertise- Global business transformation, organizational strategy & development, social & organizational psychology, and the ever-changing disruptive influence of technology in the worldwide market.

Play / Creative

Play/Creative provides an opportunity to share my creative hobbies and the many creative individuals in my network. My creative hobby combines art, music, and entertainment. For music, see link and link.

Finally, growing up in New York City is the ultimate blessing. There are many colleagues that I can look to for learning and exploring areas of interest and support for the many partnerships that will come from this journey.

The Rules

Rule 1: Content will be as formal as I define it, i.e., context is important

Rule 2: Content will be at a high level, and the basic rules of dialogue shall be honored. In English, that means no conspiracy theories and back it up with facts.

Rule 3: While I may not post all three themes daily, I will share at least daily.

I look forward to sharing and getting feedback as I explore this exciting endeavor. All content will be available daily on my blog link.
